Housing and Conservation: Finding Balance and Solutions

A conversation with Gus Seelig (Executive Director of the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board) and Tracy Zschau (President and CEO of the Vermont Land Trust).

Nearly fifty years ago, two organizations emerged to address concerns about the need to balance economic growth with the protection of Vermont’s working lands and natural beauty. Today the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB) and the Vermont Land Trust (VLT) are at the forefront of statewide efforts to meet these persistent challenges. Gus and Tracy will explore current approaches in the context of changing economic and ecological conditions.

Location: Highland Center for the Arts, 2875 Hardwick Street, Greensboro, VT 05841
